The Hotel Inspector: The Saxonia

Successful hotelier Ruth Watson returns for a second series, helping to turn failing hotels around. In this episode, she visits the Saxonia, a three-diamond, eight-bed guest house in Weston-super-Mare run by Jon and Sandie Harrap. The hotel and its owners are stuck in a time warp with tired décor, a cluttered lounge and tasteless bric-a-brac on every surface. Ruth drags the couple kicking and screaming into the 21st century. When she is done, they're even proud enough to have the local MP round.
