Portrait Artist of the Year

Frank Skinner and Joan Bakewell head to Glasgow for the second heat of the competition to find the nation's best portrait artist. At the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, another 21 artists are vying to impress the judges for the chance to win a £10,000 dream commission to paint author Hilary Mantel, with just four hours to capture celebrity sitters including Paralympic rugby player Michael Kerr, actor John Hannah and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner.
