Opening Lines

The first of two programmes in which John Yorke explores Miguel de Cervantes' epic work Don Quixote, the first European novel. He explains why it has had such a profound influence on storytelling in the 400 years since it was published, and the programme includes an interview with Terry Gilliam, who spent almost 30 years attempting to make a film of the book.
