Great Art: Pablo Picasso

The return of the documentary charting the life and work of the world's most celebrated artists, with insights into their private lives and where they lived. Spanish painter Pablo Picasso is one of the most famous artists of all time. But where did his story begin? This film goes back to the beginning to find about Picasso's early years, finding out about the upbringing that led to his extraordinary achievements. It also visits the three cities that played a key role in his life - Malaga, Barcelona and Paris - and looks at significant artworks, including the groundbreaking Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, with which Picasso introduced his cubist style.
