Toby works with a new carriage, Hannah, who loves going fast. Soon her speed proves too much for Toby./Everyone is happy at Christmas time except for Duncan the Scottish narrow gauge engine who seems to be grumbling even more than usual./When Harold the helicopter breaks down near Callan Castle Duck and Thomas are sent to take him to the Sodor Search and Rescue for repair./Cranky is starting to creak and Salty teases him about his age joking that Cranky is destined for The Scrap Yard./The whole island is celebrating Christmas and there are decorations everywhere but it doesn't look very Christmassy at the scrap yard./One night James tries to scare Percy by telling him that there's a ghost at Ulfstead Castle.
