When Salty the dockside diesel develops engine trouble he worries he will be sent away from the docks./When Marion is sent to clear an overgrown siding a voice cries out in alarm and Marion thinks she's found a talking Christmas tree./The bigger engines tease Edward for being old and unreliable, especially Gordon./It's the day after Christmas and Glynn, the old coffeepot engine, has been restored and brought to Ulfstead Castle./Emily is given the special job of transporting a giant globe, but it comes off her flatbed and soon she's chasing it all over Sodor./Diesel, the diesel shunter, isn't a very easy engine to be friends with. He is always bumping the other engines and laughing!
