Tom and Jerry can't sleep because of incessant barking. / It's picture day for Spike and Tom but they both end up dirty and in the Laundro-mutt grooming van. Tuffy and Jerry are determined to be included in this year's picture. / Rick accidentally locks Tom and Jerry in the garage. / Spike's the primary beneficiary of Rick's daily grilling. / Rick blames Tom for letting a cricket into the house. He must get rid of it or he'll be sleeping outside. / An overflowing trash bin filled with crumpled paper can mean only one thing, Tom is writing a novel. It's a mystery novel. Tom soon realizes his book is playing out in real life.
