Bambi is one of Disney's most enduring and best known characters, a delightful baby deer whose gangly body and lovable ways have endeared him to generations on cinema goes. In a moving film that's as fresh and watchable today as it was when it was made over 60 years ago, Bambi is orphaned when his mother is shot by hunters. Without her, he must learn life's harsh lessons himself, with the help of the other animals. And when the time comes, he must put the lessons he's learned to the test, and save his friends from the hunters. Many of today's adults saw this film when they were children, and remember it to this day. There's also a whole generation of children who haven't seen it, and will now have a chance to laugh and cry with one of Disney's greatest animated classics.
