Radio 3 in ConcertVerity Sharp presents a concert recorded at Swansea's Brangwyn Hall, with Ryan Bancroft conducting the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in a programme of music inspired by nature. The concert opens with the gloriously lyrical Violin Concerto by Brahms, inspired by the Italian sun and the dances he played with a Hungarian violinist friend in his youth, with acclaimed young Swedish violinist Johan Dalene the soloist in this epic work.
