Hulk and Co. SMASH Another Box Office Record

Hot on the heels of setting the box office record for an opening weekend with takings topping $200m, The Avengers (annoyingly titled ‘Marvel Avengers Assemble’ in the UK) has now chalked up a second record. Once again topping the box office in USA and Canada (not to mention almost every other country in the world), the Marvel action juggernaut raked in over $100m in its second week of release, making it the first movie in history to do so.

Zak is Sectioned!

The Dingles have a tough week in Emmerdale as they struggle to cope with Zak being sectioned under the Mental Health Act. Eileen is terrified that everyone suspects her of playing a part in Lesley's death in Coronation Street, Alice learns the truth about her dad in EastEnders, and Joel ends up in hospital in Hollyoaks after Brendan persuades him to help him show Walker a lesson.

Digiguide looks ahead to the weekend of sport. Despite the fact that we'll have to wait until Monday night, Manchester City and Manchester United will no doubt make all the headlines in the build up.
