This hilarious black comedy is basically a movie about two Texan doctors, Dr Christopher (Kevin) Saunders (David Schwimmer) and Dr. William Larson (Chris Cooper), who created the modern silicone breast implants and its surgical procedure.
This film, filmed in documentary style, follows them over the years as success and money come their way, as they split up and as they follow their seperate different paths.
In 1960, an idealistic Houston surgery intern had the idea and teamed up with a cosmetic surgeon to market the new, safe type of breast implant procedure.
Although initially popular, it soon became apparent that for some women the enhancements were not successful.
Finally we see the two doctors in very different circumstances, one becomes the god surgeon of all women, while the other's career falls by the wayside and ends up having to settle with strippers and actresses.
