Michael Corrente's film from David Mamet's play, funded by FilmFour, sees junk store proprietor Donny sell a buffalo nickel and now regretting it. His teenaged assistant Bobby is keen to have the job of stealing it back but a petty crook called Teach sees an opportunity for himself. On this basic premise, a fascinating three-way relationship develops as they mistrust each other and realign themselves in what proves inevitably a vain enterprise.
