Storyville: Street Fight

Oscar-nominated documentary which covers the turbulent campaign of Cory Booker, a 32-year old Rhodes Scholar and Yale Law graduate as he runs for Mayor of Newark, New Jersey. His initially respectful challenge to incumbent Sharpe James changes when James's camp use every trick at their disposal to ward him off. Both are Democrats, both are from Newark and both are black, but in an effort to undermine Booker's campaign James claims that he is funded by right-wing white interests.
