Professor Ben Garrod investigates AI sensing technology, beginning with ground penetrating LIDAR arrays that are being used to peel back layers of the earth and reveal remains of ancient civilisations that were previously invisible to the human eye. The same technology is being used to create 3D maps of the craters of unknown worlds.
