Knocked Up (2007)

Stoner slacker Ben Stone (Seth Rogen) can't believe his luck when he pulls out-of-his-league Alison (Katherine Heigl), a career-driven beauty, drunkenly celebrating her promotion. After parting ways, Stone is more than surprised when Alison calls him eight weeks later with some unexpected news - she's pregnant.

Released in 2007 and made by the same team behind The 40 Year Old Virgin, the film has many obvious belly laughs. But undeneath them is a movie that explores the meaning of responsibility, growing up and commitment, as lovable loser Stone and ambitious Alison must make lasting changes to their lives in preparation for their unborn child. With gut-busting humour - involving trips to the gynaecologist and the issue of having sex with your pregnant partner - the film has real heart.
