Clint Eastwood directs and stars in this drama about a bitter, racist old man who begrudgingly realises his need for redemption.
A disgruntled Korean War veteran, Walt Kowalski (Eastwood) is openly prejudiced, and doesn't hold back when a family of Hmong people move into his increasingly multicultural neighbourhood. However, when the family's teens come under threat from gangs and bullies, Walt cannot help but intervene. Begrudgingly, he forms a bond with them when they try to steal his prized possession, a 1972 Gran Torino car.
