In the aftermath of Baby P, Panorama has gained exclusive access to Coventry's social workers. The film follows the child protection teams tasked with identifying at-risk children. They face huge caseloads, work with marginalised families, juggle the problems of multi-agency coordination and tackle the mountains of paperwork knowing always that they are just one phone call away from being at the centre of a tabloid witch-hunt. In the midst of all this, are they managing to keep children safe?
