Thirty-four people died in Australia last year as the worst bushfires in living memory swept across the country , with an area roughly the size of England devastated and thousands of homes destroyed. A year on, Clive Myrie hears from the people living in the path of the fires and the firefighters who risked their lives to save them, and asks if these levels of destruction are to become normal
