When the Mayor gets tangled up in a lawsuit, Charlie calls his old college buddy, Scott, to represent him. Scott decides to pursue Caitlin, causing Charlie to become very possessive. Meanwhile, Paul seeks Carter's advice on how to ask a woman out on a date, but his plan backfires, as Susan finds him boring and responds instead to Stuart's advances.
