Cerdded y Llinell
Iolo Williams and Hywel Teifi Edwards follow in the footsteps of Welsh soldiers during the First World War as they follow the line of trenches stretching from the North Sea coast, through Belgium and France to Switzerland. The Great War took the lives of 35 thousand Welshmen and Iolo and Hywel visit the sites of all the major conflicts including Ypres, Passchendaele, Mons, The Somme and Verdun as well as the grave of poet Hedd Wyn at the Artillery Wood Cemetery near Flanders.
