Unknown to adults, a crack team of mythical beings protects the innocence and wonder of all children. This gang, led by a tattooed Santa (Alec Baldwin) and consisting of hard Aussie Easter Bunny (Hugh Jackman), meek Tooth Fairy (Isla Fisher) and mute Sandman, faces their toughest battle yet with the return of the evil bogeyman Pitch (Jude Law).
Pitch wages a war of fear against the children of the world, causing less and less kids to believe in the seasonal quartet of Guardians. With their power diminishing, the future of childhood is looking bleak. Only sprightly, eternally-young Jack Frost (Chris Pine) can inspire and delight the youth of the world back to happiness.
The imagination of children's author William Joyce goes into overload with this whirlwind of an adventure. The presence of almost every child's fantasy hero will have them jumping for joy, while a surprising depth will leave parents satisfied too.
The voice cast is also top notch, despite a slightly dodgy Russian accent from Baldwin, and sparks of comedy thrown in add to the pleasure.
