Mandy (1952)

A couple whose daughter was born deaf and mute decide to enrol her in a special class in the hope that she might learn to speak. The difficulties they face in raising their child expose the tensions within their marriage. Drama based on the novel The Day Is Ours by Hilda Lewis, starring Phyllis Calvert, Jack Hawkins, Mandy Miller and Terence Morgan.
