Blue is the Warmest Colour (2013)

Directed by
Abdel Kechiche

AdÞle Exarchopoulos and LÚa Seydoux star in director Abdellatif Kechiche's award-winning, epic romantic drama. The tale opens with 15-year-old schoolgirl AdÞle finding she has no sexual interest in boys. However, her eye is caught by a blue-haired twenty-something woman she fleetingly sees in the street; for AdÞle, this crossing of paths sparks erotic fantasies and a questioning of her sexuality. Soon after this, AdÞle is rescued from an awkward situation by the object of her infatuation, the openly lesbian art student Emma.
