Writing Lives: Treats

Short stories based on the personal experience of writers new to the radio station. In the first programme, Treats by Natalie Smith, a 21-year-old woman is leaving her childhood home in Manchester for a new job in Southampton in the early 1980s. However, as the bus moves out of the city, she opens a letter that makes her re-evaluate her past. Read by Christine Bottomley
