The Bill: Be a Man

Sergeant Stone and DC Mickey Webb investigate an incident between Trevor Berwick and Dr Josh Thomas, whom Trevor believed was having an affair with his wife Penny. Mickey takes a softly-softly approach in questioning Trevor, whom he senses is somewhat unstable, but Stone is brutal about how he thinks the man should have handled himself. However, soon after his release, Trevor's distraught wife phones to say that her husband has gone missing with their baby son, and Stone realises that he may have overstepped the mark in his callous treatment of Trevor. Meanwhile, Mickey airs his suspicions about Stone to a departing DC Will Fletcher, but Will is unable to calm Mickey's worries.
