In the first of a two-part series finale, a 14-year-old dies in Smithy's arms following a stabbing incident, and CCTV footage reveals he had been acting as a `mule" for the older members of a gang. One of Mickey's informants is spotted at the crime scene and eventually gives vital evidence pointing to the most likely culprit, but the detective fears for her safety when she is released on bail and returns to the estate
