The Bill: Last Orders

Terry is beside himself with worry about his nephews' safety, convinced they are being abused by his brother, and jeopardises the case to help them. Meadows attends the funeral of former colleague Ted Roach, and is drawn into investigating the suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, helped by ex-coppers Bob Cryer and Alec Peters. Questioning his own mortality in the process, he wonders whether a quieter pace of life would suit him better, but soon realises he would miss the thrill of the job and sets off home in a more positive mood - until he gets a shooting pain down his arm
