The Bill: Killer on the Run

Smithy's day gets off to a bad start when he finds the body of Ryan Jones's wife in the boot of her husband's car. Roger and Diane receive a call-out when Ryan is spotted entering Charing Cross tube station armed with a gun. Two passers-by are shot and seriously injured. But it soon becomes clear that Ryan is driven by a personal vendetta against Smithy - who finds himself confronted by the gunman who accuses him of ruining his life.
