Drama on 3: The Lost Salford Sioux

Anjum Malik's new mystery play about forgotten people and long-lost secrets, inspired by the true story of Surrounded by the Enemy, a Native American who came to Salford as part of Buffalo Bill's Wild Circus and whose body is believed to be still buried under the city streets. It explores how we relate to death and the impact of change on communities, as Alison, a student who is preparing a PhD on death rituals is being followed by the spirit of a Native American, and finds that the only way to save herself is to help him get his bones back to sacred ground.
