Joey becomes Pacey's temporary assistant, but their interest in each other is getting in the way of work when Joey becomes jealous of Sadia, Pacey's colleague. However, Pacey only has eyes for Joey, which is messing with his concentration. Meanwhile, Dawson has sold his idea for a coming-of-age film, but the producers want to change it into a teen sex movie. He's stuck between keeping his original idea or taking the money.
