A Theatre for Everyman

The story of Liverpool's Everyman Theatre, which reopened its doors in March following a two-year refurbishment. Hearing from a number of actors who have graced its stage during their careers, the programme examines how the venue continues to represent Liverpool's theatre community - as it did during the days of hardship during the 1970s and the Toxteth Riots of the 80s - and, in more pleasant times, when the city was named Capital of Culture in 2008.
