Gary Rhodes takes the helm as the popular amateur cooking programme returns with a new format. It is also moving to the hime of inspirational, original and accessible food programming, BBC 2, in a new weekday, evening slot. After 10 hugely successful years, MasterChef will now metamorphose into a fresh new programme, retaining the basic theme of amateur cooks competing to become the MasterChef. The all-new MasterChef retains a comforting sense of familiarity, as well as adding a whole range of entertaining and informative modifications from the original show.
