The Bernie Mac Show

Bernie Mac stars in this sitcom as Bernie 'Mac' McCullough, a stand up comedian who is happily married but with no kids of his own.

In the pilot episode, Mac's sister suddenly goes into rehab, and Mac and his wife take in her three children; teenage Vanessa, asthmatic Jordan and sweet little Bryana. The comedy revolves around Mac's adjustment to his new family life and his unique approach to parenting. The kids prove to be more than a handful often causing Mac trouble, but what becomes apparent is his deep affection for the three.
