Eddie (Jimi Mistry), a small time thief, badly bodges a heist and escapes into the salsa club with the police in hot pursuit.
Jocelyn's (Catherine McCormack) very bizarre job means she tends cemetery plots for those families who have gone away.
Frankie (Craig Ferguson) is a smooth and straightlaced guy who, after dumping a date, winds up in the salsa club too and spots the sleek and elegant Eleanor (Olivia Williams) and with her dismissive tone piques his interest all the more.
Finally of course, there's Jimmy (Adrian Lester), the London cabbie who watches as these various dramas run their course...
